Are you ready to be a founding architect of a digital banking revolution?

We are representing a leading financial institution in Sri Lanka currently in the early stages of a massive Core Banking Digital Transformation.

We need a 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 who can operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment to translate legacy financial processes into world-class digital experiences.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞

This is a foundational role. You will not just manage a product; you will define the target-state operating model for a modernized banking ecosystem. You will work closely with vendor partners and internal stakeholders to ensure the transformation journey moves from "readiness" to "market-leading execution".

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

➤ Vision & Roadmap: Develop and own a phased product roadmap that aligns with the overarching digital transformation strategy.

➤ Legacy to Digital Translation: Study existing processes and "gaps" to define how legacy core banking functions will evolve into modern digital practices.

➤ Vendor & RFP Collaboration: Provide the "Product Voice" during vendor capability assessments and RFP leadership to ensure selected partners can deliver on the product vision.

➤ Agile Leadership: Drive the adoption of Agile frameworks by ensuring absolute clarity of Epics, Features, and User Stories.

➤ Institutional Bridging: Act as a domain ambassador, bridging the gap between technical vendors, internal IT, and business units.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

✅ Industry Expertise: Proven experience in Core Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domain is mandatory.

✅ Transformation Exposure: Prior experience in early-stage digital transformation or "greenfield" projects is highly preferred.

✅ Agile Proficiency: Strong experience with JIRA and hybrid delivery models.

✅ Certifications: Agile certifications (CSM, CSPO, or SAFe) are preferred to help drive institutional maturity.

✅ Education: A Master’s degree in Project Management, an MBA, or a related field.

✅ Mindset: The ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and lead change with an "ambassador" mindset.
